April Spinny Brand Market
April marks our first 6 months of Spinny Brand Gifted & Disabled Market! Our Market represents the Disabled, Handicap, & Neurodivergent Community! It’s held at Four Corners Brewing Co on April 16 from 6-930 pm!
Our market consists of vendors, artists, content creators and gifted minds, with disabilities, a condition, a disorder or neurodivergent! Including people who have loved ones with disabilities, or people who just want to help us build the community.
Out goal is to create a safe space for those with disabilities, to be able to attend, without fear of being judged or looked at differently by others. This event is free entry to everyone! We encourage people of all circumstances, and backgrounds to come together in a safe environment to mingle, network, promote their business, sell their products, attend with friends and family, meet some of their childhood heroes, and have a great time, all while building a community, and supporting a great cause. Let’s bring the community together, and create something that can be impactful, heartfelt, and welcoming! A space where parents, can safely bring their children. We want to give creative minds a platform to showcase their work and talents, in a safe environment, in hopes they’ll blossom and grow their businesses to whatever their heart desires. Artistry has no boundaries and we want to share that with the world.
We are happy to announce our April guest for the Spinny Brand Market, Voice Actor Kaitlyn Barr! She is voice of Himeno, Ryukyu, Nikki Hanada, Anna Yamada & many more!
April is Autism Awareness. Our fundraiser & raffle proceeds will go to Autistic Self Advocacy Network ““Nothing About Us Without Us” means that autistic people need to be involved whenever autism is discussed. When non-autistic people make decisions about autism without Autistic input, those decisions are usually bad. This makes it harder for us to get by in the world. Decisions about autism need to be made with autistic people. That way, we can make policies that help us live our lives, and teach people how to be understanding and supportive of the autistic community.”
Our cosplay contest will be hosted at 7:30 by cosplayer @lunadanverscosplay, who has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, same as Spinny!
