OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SCOTTISH RITE AND CHILDREN'S HEALTH

A Message from the Owner,

Scottish Rite for Children Hospital and Children's Health Medical Center are very near and dear to our heart.  Due to my condition, I spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital.  From X-Rays, to surgeries, to being admitted.  These two hospitals took care of me when I was a child.  Now in 2022, they continue to provide the best care possible for their patients.  For that reason, I want to give back to the ones that took care of me and my family during those rough times.

Scottish Rite

Scottish Rite is a great facility that focuses on kids with orthopedic injuries.  Whether it's something you were born with, or just happened to have an injury, they will take you in for treatment.  In addition, they have child life programs, individualized physical therapy and in-house specialists in anesthesiology, radiology, psychology and pharmacy.  They also treat patients with dyslexia.  Scottish Rite relies heavily on outside donations, which help keep the facility up and running, allows for them to throw events and offer programs such as sporting events, special guests, visits from service animals, and more.  They don't just make their patients feel included, they are included.  Here is some info about Scottish Rite below, and check their website for further information.

Children's Health

Children's Health Medical Center is also a great facility that treats kids with many conditions.  Some of the surgeries I had as a kid, were done at Children's Health Dallas Facility.  The children are the future, and it's great that there are organizations that make sure all kids feel included, and stood up for, when they can't.  Here is some info about Children's Health below, and check their website for further information.

"About Children's Health℠" (Directly from Children's Health Website)

Our Mission: Make life better for children

"For more than 100 years, our mission has been to make life better for children. Since our humble beginnings in 1913 as a baby camp, we have had a long-standing commitment to our community that includes not only high-quality patient care but also advocacy, education and preventive care with an unwavering focus on our mission.

We take great pride in serving as one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric health care providers in the country and as the leading pediatric health system in North Texas. Through our academic affiliation with UT Southwestern, we are a leader in life-changing treatments, innovative technology and ground-breaking research. We are honored to be consistently recognized among the top children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

As the North Texas community grows, we remain committed to keeping alive Children’s Health℠ Founder Nurse May Smith’s spirit of courage, dedication to excellence and service to the families in our communities while providing world-class care.

Our commitment to our community reaches beyond our walls and into schools, social-service organizations, corporate boardrooms, city halls and legislative chambers. In addition to providing health care, we often serve as a voice for the voiceless and an advocate for the children who have no vote and no lobbying group to speak on their behalf. "

How Spinny Brand Co. relates to these organizations.

Without these hospitals, I don't know if I would still be here today.  Looking back at things, I realize how important these organizations are to today's youth.  While we aren't a medical facility, that can heal physical trauma, we do believe that we can help heal some emotional trauma.  Inclusion and representation is extremely important in society today.  Our goal is to have a voice for those that aren't ready to speak for themselves.  We want to incite confidence in those who need it.  We want everyone to be comfortable in their own skin, be proud of who they are, and live the life they dream of.  We thank you for your support, and we hope to be able to create a change for the goodness of todays youth, in society, and the world.
